The Singapore-based RVi Group traced its roots to 1991, with the aim to develop people internationally by capitalising on its unique and innovative training, consultancy and delivery systems in a network of companies across South-East Asia and partners around the globe. Members of the RVi Group include RVi Institute, RVi Academies, RV International Publications Services (RVIPS) and RVi Centres.


RVi Group has more than 20 years of experience in Myanmar. RVi Institute has been operating in Myanmar for 20 years and 10 years in Vietnam and Cambodia. RVi Institute is responsible for the placement of over 6,000 students overseas, primarily to Singapore in the 3 universities, 5 polytechnics and other reputable private education institutions.


RVIPS, the media arm of the RVi Group, is the only authorised distributor of Singapore Press Holdings Limited publications in Myanmar. Starting from 2014, RVIPS publishes the Straits Times Myanmar Edition (STMM) in Myanmar. Currently, over 2,000 copies of STMM are distributed to the major hotels, organisations and embassies in Myanmar everyday and we have a readership of over 10,000 people daily.


RVIPS also prints and distributes China Daily Global Edition in Myanmar and Thailaind, China Daily Asia Weekly in Cambodia and Vietnam. More than 5,000 copies of each edition of China Daily Global Edition are distributed in the region by RVIPS.


RVIPS also provides foreign reading materials, journals, periodicals, magazines and newspapers in Myanmar. The international newspaper include The Straits Times, The Business Times, Financial Times and Lianhe Zaobao. The international magazines include Her World, Home & Décor and Women’s Weekly. RVIPS is also the only authorized distributor of Singapore Press Holdings Limited publications in Myanmar.


Through RVIPS, the RVi Group fosters close relationships with other media groups to help them understand what is happening in Myanmar. These include organising the Myanmar-Asean Forum with the Singapore Institute of International Affairs. We also served as the key media partner for many other events, such as the Myanmar Economic Forum, Myanmar Infrastructure Summit, Euromoney Conferences, Invest Myanmar 2019 and other high profile forums and events. In November 2018, RVIPS organized the “Myanmar: Through the Dragon’s Brush” which enhanced the arts and cultural exchange between the artists of China and Myanmar. In December 2019, RVIPS successfully oraganized a charity run in Bagan - heart of Myanmar, titled Myanmar Run 2019 in Bagan together China Daily Asia Pacific.
